The McDonald’s Corporation (NYSE:MCD) have been on a consistent downward spiral since October 2013. Because of the changing trends in the society regarding the proclivity towards natural food choices, The McDonald’s Corporation (NYSE:MCD) has been suffering the distancing of its customers. The youth, which The McDonald’s Corporation (NYSE:MCD) was so proud to have as its epitome, have realized that fast food is injurious to health and with the passage of time are changing their eating habits. On the other hand Subway is becoming the talk of the town because it offers more natural choices of food.

Initially, when the problem came up, The McDonald’s Corporation (NYSE:MCD) started switching menus and started going back to the old deals that were successful in a certain era. Expanding the menu and bringing back old deals didn’t work for McDonald’s Corporation (NYSE:MCD) at all. At one point it seemed like McDonald’s (NYSE:MCD) didn’t know what was happening to it. It was going round in circles. But now it seems like the management and the executives have had a word about the problem and nailed it; now it seems that the company has realized that it has been complicating things

The menu will be offering a simple one quarter pounder with a Cheese hamburger as compared to the previous four quarter pounders on the menu. Even the premium chicken will be reduced to one from the previous three. This will help McDonald’s (NYSE:MCD) a lot in simplifying its menu rather than stuffing it with loads of chicken and ham, which people are avoiding these days mostly.

The company’s U.S. president stated that The McDonald’s Corporation (NYSE:MCD) doesn’t require a big menu to attract customers, what it needs is an exclusive menu. The McDonald’s Corporation (NYSE:MCD) is also looking to incorporate technology by giving the opportunity to the customers to order from their cell phones and building in-restaurant kiosks.

The McDonald’s Corporation (NYSE:MCD) is also eying to get the mothers and young as its customers once again by offering healthy food. McDonald’s (NYSE:MCD), by now, must have realized that the customers are looking for fresh, natural, healthy food instead of fast food. The reason behind that is simple: people are becoming health conscious and want to avoid the risk of getting a heart disease.

McDonald’s (NYSE:MCD) is also working on decreasing the ingredient labels; simplifying it for the sake of customers. The McDonald’s Corporation (NYSE:MCD) is famous for having a large menu, and quite an impressive one. But that’s all going to change now as McDonald’s (NYSE:MCD) become health driven rather than being gluttony driven. The McDonald’s Corporation (NYSE:MCD) is in desperate need to post major sales or it will be transcended by the likes of Subway and then there will be nothing to hold onto. The restaurant business is a brutal one and once you become associated with something that is resented in the market, you become a distant memory.
