Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ:MSFT)’s Selfie app has received a number of updates that expand its functions and simplify its usage. Among other things, Microsoft has enabled app-to-app share on Selfie app, which makes it possible to share you photos on apps such as Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.Microsoft has also included more photo editing features in the updated version of the Selfie app.
Selfie app is a product of Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ:MSFT)’s Garage division. The app has been downloaded nearly half a million times since its launch just about two weeks ago. It is interesting that people found the app useful to download at such as a rapid rate yet the original version was a bit restrictive. These days, apps tend to launch with in-built ability to share content across other apps. That wasn’t the case with the original Selfie app.
However, following the latest update, Microsoft has lifted app-to-app sharing restriction in Selfie app, thus making it easy to share your photos on multiple social media platforms with just a few taps. Sharing on photos through Facebook Inc (NASDAQ:FB)’s mobile properties Instagram and WhatsApp have been enabled on Selfie app and the same goes for Twitter Inc (NYSE:TWTR)’s mobile app and several others.
Using the app, you can share the photos directly capture through the app on your handset or connect the app to your camera roll and pull photos from there to share with friends.
Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ:MSFT)’s updated Selfie app is now equipped with intelligent photo processing capabilities. For example, the software is able to analyze photos along the lines of gender, age, skin tone and more. You can also use the app to touch up your photos by emphasizing desired features and removing unwanted ones.
The photo processing features built into Selfie app ensures that your photos do end up looking unnatural.
