Everyone knows about the new Apple (NASDAQ: AAPL) devices; iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 plus. Apple’s (NASDAQ: AAPL) efforts to make a name in the phablet race has urged it to make bigger sized phones. The new iPhone 6 plus is 5.5 inches large; not an ideal size for a typical smartphone but perfect to act as a phablet. This huge size, however is causing difficulty for the customers because the phone does not fit in their jeans.
There have been some complaints since the launch of these new iPhones 6 and 6 plus. Customers say that the iPhone is so huge that it doesn’t fit, and if it does, it bends if kept in the pocket for a long time. A channel on YouTube had performed a stress test on iPhone 6 plus to check if the rumors are true or not and guess what? The phone did bend when the stress test was applied. It even seemed that the phone might break in two pieces.
Well, some fashion brands took the matter in their own hands and decided to change their clothing styles to complement the large sized iPhones. Uniqlo stated to Quartz in a recent interview that their company is having some discussions with the development crew from the technology perspective. They think that clothes can be helpful in providing ease to the customers in many matters. The most important point of their discussion was considering the size of jean pockets.
Listed here are some brands which are going to alter their clothing a little bit to cope with the bigger tech devices.
– American Eagle Outfitters (NYSE: AEO)
The company stated that their men-wear collection already has bigger pockets which can easily fit in larger phones. As for the women clothing, they are still figuring out a way.
– L.L Bean
Some of the company’s goods like men’s active clothing, particularly pants having side pockets e.g. cargo style, already has enough space to fit in large phones. The company keeps on having sessions using Samsung phones and iPhones in order to keep a check that the pockets accommodate such phones. The company stated that iPhone 6 would also now fit in the jean pockets.
– J. Crew Group
The company tries to cope up with their customers’ needs throughout their process of designing garments. They consider each and every view along with the changes in technology. J. Crew is thinking to introduce accessories for the new iPhones and interior pockets especially designed to fit in different tablets.
– Lee Jeans
The company always tries to bring changes in their apparels. Along with designing complimentary clothes for the customers, Lee Jeans also considers that when or how their customer will be wearing the jeans, including the designs wearable for everyday routine.
Levi’s is not trying to be specific for just iPhone 6. Instead, the company tries to manufacture such products which will be proved helpful for the lives of the people.
