There is a market for Priv from users who are currently using Android phones and desire superior productivity and stronger privacy features. Priv is the first-ever Android smartphone to combine privacy features with each of the vital features users need such as a Blackberry keyboard, big display, long battery life, Blackberry security as well as productivity features, powerful specifications and entry to the world’s biggest App ecosystem.
The Blackberry Priv is a combination of two different pieces; the glass and metal front, and the soft to touch plastic back. The right and left edges of 5.4 inch Quad HD display curve a bit. The sleek build makes it seem narrower. The display and the plastic converge at a speaker grill that spans the bottom of the gadget.
The flat top and bottom differ from the curved sides. The top hosts the microSD and SIM card trays while the bottom of the device host microUSB2.0 with SlimPort and 3.5mm audio jack. The power button is at the center of the left hand side of the gadget. The volume buttons are on the right hand side. A button placed between the up and down volume keys mutes incoming calls as well as message notifications. The soft-touch weave cover of the behind portion of the phone gives excellent grip making handling this big phone pretty easy with one hand.
