Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) might soon launch an iPhone with a display screen of 5.7 inches
The craze for the bigger screen mobile phones has caught up with Applie Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) too. According to a few rumors Apple will be launching a bigger display screen iPhone in the year 2014. This forecast was made by DisplaySearch, a marketing research company who posted it on its website on Monday. The size of the rumored iPhone will be 5.7 inches and it will be released in next year’s second quarter. DisplaySearch mostly gets its facts from Intel.
David Hsieh, an experienced analyst has written that Apple’s iPhones 5s and 5c clearly reflect that Apple is somewhat behind utilizing the new technology when it comes to phone display. In a market where 5.6 to 7 inch screens have made their mark, Apple is still staying loyal to its old 4 inch display screen with the resolution of 1136×640 for over a year now.
Taking the new trends into account and in order to re-establish itself as the market leader, Apple is planning to take technological advancement to the next level. The company claims that their new iPhone 6 will a next generation smartphone. It is also rumored that Apple will also launch its TV in 2014’s third quarter followed by an iWatch in the 4th quarter.
Apple’s next step would be to produce a bigger display screened phone to end Samsung’s monopoly in the bigger display screen market. It is believed that the bigger screened phones will be more than just a new design.
