Apple Inc (NASDAQ:AAPL) will be resuming their iPad series with a product launch next week. Apple Inc (NASDAQ:AAPL) will release new iPads and Macs in a media event; it has been quite some time Apple Inc (NASDAQ:AAPL) came out with something that was highlighted more than the current iPhone. Apple has released a teaser which says its been way too long, so what can it be?
iPad was updated last year, so we can’t really say that we’ve missed iPad quite a lot. As for Macbook air and Apple Inc (NASDAQ:AAPL) TV- apparently Macbook Air will be getting a retina display in the event. There are no updates for Apple Inc (NASDAQ:AAPL) TV.
iPad sales have dwindled in the past year or so. iPads were once viewed as having the potential to achieve the status equivalent to an iPhone. But sadly that hasn’t been the case; infact iPad has been on a downward spiral. The sales have been flat and at one point it seemed like Apple Inc (NASDAQ:AAPL) might discontinue the category altogether.
iPad will be receiving a few upgrades however, such as TouchID, Apple Inc (NASDAQ:AAPL)’s finger prints sensor. It would be available in a golden color as well which will be entirely new for iPad. It’s unlikely that Apple Inc (NASDAQ:AAPL) will reduce the ipad prices. Analysts believe this might be the last chance for Apple Inc (NASDAQ:AAPL) to reverse the poor sales of their iPads.
The iPad miniseries however is as good as dead, since there are replacements available like the iPhone 6 plus which are more than worthy the ipad and gives better performance as well. Even if in this event iPad mini gets updated it won’t do the series any good.
The Macbooks won’t be just updated in any small way, which is Apple Inc’s (NASDAQ:AAPL) premiere device having everything good offered by Apple. The retina Macbook, which boasts a 12 inch screen, would probably be released next year. But if we go with the rumors, it’s being said that Macbooks will get a massive upgrade, something that’ll redefine the computer category altogether.
Apple Inc (NASDAQ:AAPL) might also give us an update about their latest offering, the Apple Inc (NASDAQ:AAPL) Watch which is due for the next year. It could be about anything ranging from the price to the internal structure of the device.
The consumer version of Yosemite will also be launched in this event as it has been in preview mode since it was announced last June alongside the IOS8.
These new devices will be replenishing the waning categories of Apple Inc (NASDAQ:AAPL) besides its smartphone sector which is mainstream. There aren’t many companies that are equipped with products so popular in the market. This event might just complete a perfect year for Apple Inc (NASDAQ:AAPL) as the sales of iPhone 6 and 6 plus are expected to be record breaking for the last quarter, Apple Inc (NASDAQ:AAPL) has every reason to cheer.
